Objective

The 'Voices of Migration' project embarks on a comprehensive endeavor to amplify the experiences of young migrant individuals by collecting, curating, and showcasing their narratives through an interactive exhibition, while concurrently fostering their personal growth through intercultural training. This initiative also aims to enhance inclusivity within the youth field by developing educational resources and methodological guidelines that equip youth workers with effective public history tools for promoting intercultural understanding among their diverse audiences. As part of its holistic approach, the project further seeks to bridge generational, national, and cultural divides through inclusive local festivals, cultivating spaces for intercultural dialogue and unity among different communities.

Activities

The project's objectives will be achieved through the collection and presentation of stories from a minimum of 40 young migrants in each partner country using online crowdsourcing. These stories will be showcased in an interactive digital exhibition.

Additionally, the project will develop educational videos and methodological guidelines to enhance youth workers' comprehension of the role of public history in promoting inclusion. Intercultural training for young migrants in Portugal will further enhance their digital and intercultural competencies. Through these initiatives, the project aims to foster intercultural understanding, empower youth workers, and provide a platform for sharing diverse migration experiences.
