Objective

The SEED project represents a transformative approach to sustainability and digital literacy within European secondary education. It addresses pressing environmental concerns and the vital role schools play in nurturing sustainable practices. By empowering educators and students, it aspires to create a ripple effect, fostering a culture of responsible citizenship and innovative thinking for a better future. Thus, the main objectives are:

  • To provide comprehensive training for teachers and school leaders on integrating sustainability and digital literacy into events and curriculum.

  • To develop strategies for sustainable event management, focusing on food sustainability and digital tools.

  • To create partnerships and networks among schools and stakeholders to share best practices and amplify the impact of sustainability initiatives.

  • To establish a sustainable framework and network for continued learning and the growth of sustainable practices and digital literacy within European secondary education.

Activities

The project's objectives will be achieved through  the creation of a comprehensive SEED School-Kit for Green Events aims to equip educators with essential tools for sustainable event management.  Activity 2 focuses on Green Digitalization Guidelines, providing teacher training modules to embed sustainable digital practices in classrooms. Lastly, Activity 3 involves developing School Guidelines and Piloting, enabling schools to implement and refine sustainable event management practices.

Each activity targets educators and schools across partner countries, contributing to fostering sustainability and digital literacy in educational settings.
